Cousins...and...potty. Doll potty, that is.

After careful thought, I've decided to being this post
with the doll potty incident. Olivia has become totally
obsessed with the "potty." Not to be confused with
the actual "act" of pottying. She is obsessed with
the toilet and her training seat. She also does a wonderful
job of telling us about her potty. Like after she has pottied...
in her diaper. That being said, we are extremely proud
of her potty efforts and we can't forget to mention
that she did "poopy in the potty" today. Apparently,
so did her doll.

I heard Olivia messing around in our powder room
this morning and when I went in to check on her,
this is what I found.

She is so proud of herself and her dolly. I am not
sure why she is wearing sunglasses. Perhaps she
thinks it is sunny in the bathroom?! The "doll
go potty" incident is by far one of the funniest
things she has done yet. She is such a ham!

On a separate note, the Barczak cousins stopped in
for a short visit on their way to Florida. Here is Sam
helping Olivia with her breakfast.

Oh, did I mention that Olivia is a ham?

We made several attempts to get all of the kids to
pose for the camera. Only the oldest two and the
very youngest complied. :(

I love this photo. Don't Bo and Olivia look like they
are girlfriends chatting it up at a slumber party? Do
you like the way he has her brush and she is playing
with his truck?

And finally, Pearce and Bo. Bo is a little more than
four months older than Pearce and it is extremely
evident in this photo. Bo looks like he could squash Pearce.
I am thinking this photo will reappear one day, like when
they are both playing in the NFL. Ha!
All for now folks.

St.Pat's Pics and the Park

More updates from Atlanta a little late. We made cookies for St. Pat's and went to the park last weekend. Olivia is absolutely obsessed with slides. We cannot get her away from them.

Slide walking. This concerns me.

Cute but not the look we would like to see in twenty years.

More swing!

That's all folks!

Belated Updates

Ahhhh, the park!
The weekend following Olivia's birthday we enjoyed a
last minute visit from Yiaya and Papou. We were fortunate
to have 70+ degree weather. Perfect for hanging out
at the park! Check out our 2 year-old hamming it
up in C-town.

I was pushing Olivia in this photo. Doesn't it look
like we are both doing some sort of dance move?
The boys with beards, 2009. We think Zak definitely
has Papou beat now that Papou has trimmed his wild
white beard.

S.L.I.D.E!!!! This child is a bona fide slide addict!

Doesn't Olivia look like Pebbles in this photo?

Pearce is such a chill baby and this photo embodies
his laid-back personality. He loves to lounge and watch
TV.
This photo is hilarious. Pearce is just as focused
on the computer as Pat is. I guess he can be a little
intense too. :)

Pearce and Yiaya and Mom at the park.

Ticklish toes. This boy has the most infectious
laugh when tickled. We really need to record
it and post it online.
Happy early St. Pat's Day!

Happy 2nd Birthday Olivia!

We've been a little slow with the updates so here's the latest to make up for it. Thanks to everyone who sent gifts and called O on her 2nd birthday, she now thinks anything that comes in the mail is a present.

Mmmm Frosting

Smile Pearce!

Frosting was everywhere.

Here I am being told to sit down again.

Can't quite figure out the party hat thing.

Liv was not happy with Pearce sitting on her slide. Olivia's slide Daddy!

Mugging on the new slide.

Within an hour and 15 minutes she made it down the slide about 45 times.

I should be concerned about her going head first.

Me and Pearce.

Kate and Pearce.

Pearcey Lips.

Olivia cooperated long enough for this shot before heading down the slide.

Liv got a new baby Elmo complete with pacifier and diaper. He went down the slide a couple of times.

Head first - Elmo in tow.

First attempt at a family photo. We couldn't get Olivia off the slide.

Second attempt.

This one is from Sunday when we were hit by Winter Storm '09. We probably got about an inch of snow which stuck to some of the roads and created complete havoc in Atlanta for 24 hours. At least it was pretty.
