Sandwich Artist

One of Olivia's favorite new snacks/lunch foods
is an open faced peanut butter sandwich. She
also loves grapes. Here she "glues" her sliced
grapes onto her sandwich.

Mmmmmm....so glad that Jif isn't tainted!

8 Weeks Old

Nina leans in to give Pearce a "Happy 8 Week
Birthday" kiss. What she is really thinking is, "if
I have to be a dog pillow for this kid, he needs
to have some decent food remnants on his face!"

Really, Nina is such a sweet and loving puppy.
She is WONDERFUL with both of the kids.

I sometimes think Pearce looks like Olivia when
she was his age. Other times I feel that he looks
like my father's baby photos. One thing is for sure,
he has Pat's cleft chin!

Finally, a smile! How I wish this photo wasn't
so blurry!

Tough Girl

This is our "guard dog" Gretchen. She is all
snuggled up to Olivia's fake maltese. When our other
dog tried to "disturb" their cuddling, Gretchen nearly
bit her face off. She is such a protective pup and loves
Olivia and Pearce to death. Sometimes I think
she thinks Pat and I are not attentive enough
when it comes ot our parenting duties. She loves
all things small!

Puppy Hat

Attempt #1 at cute puppy hat shot. Not going
exceptionally well (no smile), but could be worse.

Attempt #2-he's not sure what to make of this
dog and pony show with the camera and hat.

Attempt #3-I thought this was turning into a smile,
but clearly it was not. Try again later!

Thanks to Team Deen for the adorable hat and booties!

Boots, Booties, and Booty

Olivia: "Hey BABY!"

Pearce: "What the?!?!?!?"

Here are a few recent photos of the kids. As you can see,
they are getting along fine.

Olivia decided to get a spiked hairdo while brushing her teeth.
She decided to show it to a bewildered Pearce.

"Baby Waves."

"Why is HE in MY crib?"

The infamous booties. My Aunt Joyce had these
made for Pearce. He wears them daily because they
are cute AND he cannot get them off. He was
constantly removing his socks and his feet were
always freezing before we received the booties.

Aunt Joyce also hooked Olivia up with these
snazzy pink cowboy boots. Don't they
go nicely with the pink fairy flower tent
from Aunt Nadine?

A full body shot. This guy is GROWING!

More boots. Olivia likes the look of them. She
says "pretty." However, she cannot figure out
how to walk in the boots; or how to get off the
floor while wearing the boots, for that matter.

And finally, the princess dress from Aunt Nadine.
I think this is suppose to go with the wings and the
fairy tent. Olivia has decided to model it with a
pink blackberry. I think we are going to be in the
poor house the way this little lady likes clothes and
shoes. I am praying we wear the same size!

Can't forget the "booty shot." Olivia
looovvveess digging through Pearce's
makeshift "room" inside our room. Too
bad she can't figure out how to get up with
her boots on!
All for now...

Photos of the Kiddos

About a week after Pearce's birth we had a
photographer come over to the house to take
photos of the kids. Here are a few of the more
than 100 shots she took. Enjoy!

Big Sister Elf.

Santa, Baby.

Sleeping Pearcey.
Luscious lips.

Pensive toddler.

Olivia LOOOVVVED "holding" the baby for
these shots. She was devastated when we "took
baby" away.

We will be sure to show these two these
photos in 15 years when they
are trying to kill one another.
Happy New Year!
