Meet The Grand-'Rents

Hello again! Sorry for the delay in blog updates, but our BRAND NEW laptop was out for repairs. Apparently we are cursed when it comes to computers--our initial PC was stolen and the replacement appears to be a bit unreliable. Tsk, tsk, we should not be complaining, we have much to be happy and thankful for!

Olivia has grown considerably in the last 2 weeks. She now weighs over 8 lbs! We are looking forward to her 1 month (ohmigod she is almost 1 month old) checkup next week to see her overall progress.

In addition to eating, sleeping and growing, Olivia has been introducing herself to friends and family alike. Over the last 2 weeks, she was fortunate enough to be cared for by Grand-Mom Henry and Yiaya. She also met cousins Katie, Jake, Liz, Zach, Boomer AND Aunt Nadine. Tomorrow, Papou and Yiaya will be here so that Olivia can finally meet ALL 4 of her grandparents. What a lucky girl.

Thanks to everyone over the last few weeks for of their love, support, food and baby loot!

Belated Happy St. Pat's!

I'm going to open up Paypal on this site if I keep getting complaints about slow updates. Above is Nina enjoying her St. Patrick's day sweater. The others tried to beat her up again for being "different". Also, Olivia's first picture with Grandmom and Pop Pop. Everything is going very well, Olivia is growing like a weed. She's started smiling, kissing (sort of), cooing and big surprise she makes pissed off faces like her Dad. If she looks a little intense you know what side that comes from.

Hello again everyone,

Sorry for the slow updates we've been a little busy. So far Olivia is adapting very well to her new home. We were up till 4 last night due to an upset stomach but beyond that no problems. She met her Aunt Nadine for the first time yesterday and Grandmom Henry is visiting today. The dogs seem to think we aren't good parents because she cries. We're getting a lot of concerned looks from the Shepherds. Check out the pics below, the duck suit is from bathtime this morning.

Update and More Pics!

Hello everyone,

Everything is going well. Neither of us got much sleep last night between Olivia and a sick dog (Sasha may have caught the bubonic plague from that rat). We think we've got it pegged and basically this is how it goes:

-Crying = hungry

So far that's about it. We introduced Olivia to the dogs last night which had mixed results. Sasha was thrilled and wanted to spend more time with her, Gretchen is on high alert and Nina (the husky) could care less right now. She thinks in three years she'll have an ally against her wicked step sisters. They got a little more time with Olivia tonight and Sasha cuddled up next to me and Olivia on the couch. Here are a few more pics including a couple of the reclusive Kate.

Olivia Pics Round II

Hello again everyone. I've added a few more pics from today. We'll have some of Kate and Olivia very soon but right now Kate's pretty worn out and doesn't want her picture taken. I'm at home for a little bit to update and take care of the dogs. Our oldest dog, Sasha expressed her congratulations by bringing in a foot long dead rat from the yard. She's very considerate. Anyway, take a look at the pictures. I tried to get a couple of Olivia without her cap so you can see her hair a little better. You can't tell from the pictures but she's got skinny legs, no butt and giant feet. Enjoy, I'll have more soon.

Introducing Olivia Laine Henry

I know everyone has been worried but we're good to go and so is the newest addition to our clan, Olivia. She weighed in at a svelt 6.5 lbs. and was 20 inches long. She came in at 10:05 PM. She's very cute and has dark curly hair already. See for yourself:
