Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! We had a great holiday even though we were flying solo. We visited the Pink Pig at Lenox Mall on Christmas Eve. Short story--it's a ride that looks like a pink pig that's been an Atlanta landmark for years. It used to be at the Rich's downtown until some crazy parents got the idea that sticking a bunch of kids in a pink metal tube with chicken wire windows might be "dangerous." I can't imagine why, I mean it's not like they had seatbelts to restrain them in case of an accident.

Pay close attention to the videos - we captured their first actual fight. Pearce was definitely persistent but I think Olivia got the better of him. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Festivus!

Elf on the shelf. Olivia named him Charlie.
He found his way to the lights.

"baby Marie."

So many toys, so little time.

Pearce - drinking and driving

Why can't they ever look at the camera at the
same time?

Prissy pose.

Christmas morning! Look closely...you can see that
P was once again knawing on his crib. Nice.

They really look like they love each other here. Just wait.

"Oh...I am suppose to eat that?!" Yum, I think.

Thanks to everyone for the Christmas presents as well everyone who
came over to celebrate P's first big party! He loved seeing you all...as did we!

We had a photo session at the beginning of November and just received the finished product. Hopefully everyone likes them as much as we do. More updates soon, enjoy!

Saturday in the park

We took a little jaunt to Piedmont park today to visit with Cousin Joe. We had a great time and got to play with the camera we've had for a a year that neither one of us has quite figured out yet. Needless to say we got some pretty good pictures. I went for a hike bright and early this morning to Sweetwater Creek State Park (only about 20 minutes from us downtown) and also got some pretty good photos. The trail actually contains the ruins of a mill that was built in 1840 and destroyed during the burning of Atlanta during the Civil War. Pretty interesting and the photos do it a good amount of justice. Enjoy!

Hmm look like anyone else you know when annoyed?

Pearce with Joe - He was restricted to holding Pearce due to his awful outfit

Sweetwater creek - we've had some flooding again so the creek was more like a river

A duck I saw on the docks. I decided to experiment with the camera settings on this one.
